A high-class chardonnay that punches well above its weight. Quality Margaret River fruit has been well handled with a light touch of oak. Compelling mix of peach stone fruit and cashew on the nose. On the palate some barrel fermentation, cedary oak influences emerges. Well balanced with a persistent finish. 89/100

The indelible influence of Margaret River is evident with the black currant and ripe plum and mint complexity on the nose. Deep dark black fruits palate with layers of chocolate and light mint. The cedary oak adds further complexity. Good palate intensity with fine grained, balanced tannins to finish. Excellent drinking in the short term. 87/100

COLOUR, BOUQUET, PALATE: Mid straw colour. the nose has an enormous intensity of fruit, with butterscotch, toffee, fig, white peaches and fresh, cedary oak. Full palate with rich and rounded layers showing peach and nutty lees characters balanced with oak, malolactic creaminess and good acid length.
